New Service at Russell Library Decreases Wait for Computer Use
6/14/2010
About 200
people use the public computers daily at Russell Library, 123 Broad St., Middletown. In order to decrease the waiting
time and free staff to provide more personal assistance, a new software system
was installed. This self-service program allows library users to login directly
to a public access computer which times their session and manages their printing
activity. Printing charges are 10 cents a sheet for black and white copies, and
50 cents for color images. Since this software links all of these activities to
the person's library account, all users must have a current library card in
their possession to log on. If you do not have a card, please bring proof of
residency with you to obtain a card. Guest passes will be issued temporarily. If
you have any questions, please call the library's Information Department at
860-347-2520.
