DBD moves forward with way finding signage
program
The
Gateway & Wayfinding Report was submitted to the DBD in September 2009. The
DBD Board of Commissioners accepted the report and agreed that additional
information was needed in regard to cost and implementation. At the December
meeting of the DBD Board a report of specifications and cost estimates was
presented. The Board voted to move forward and establish the Wayfinding Project
and support the cost.
At the
January meeting of the Central Business Bureau of the Chamber of Commerce
examples of the signs were presented and the CBB granted its support of the
project.
Many
meetings have taken place during the first weeks in January. The DBD has
received exceptional support from City Departments as we learn the steps to
implement the Wayfinding Project.
